Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Academic Route Collaborative (“ARC”) uses personal information when you browse our services or submit an application through ARC.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use ARC, we may collect identity and contact information, education history, language qualifications, application information, supporting documents, and information you provide about an education agent or counsellor.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate your ARC account, prepare and review applications, communicate with you, support application progression, maintain appropriate records, protect our systems, and meet relevant legal and operational requirements.
Sharing information for your application
Where necessary to process or support your application, ARC may share relevant application information and documents with the university you are applying to and with service providers that support ARC’s application operations and technology.
Information you provide about an education agent or counsellor is treated as student-declared information unless ARC separately verifies that relationship. It does not by itself establish a verified ARC agency attribution.
Security and retention
ARC applies technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect application information. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for application, operational, security, record-keeping, and applicable legal purposes.
Your choices and questions
If you have a privacy question or want to ask about personal information held by ARC, please contact ARC through the Contact Us section of our website.

Optional website analytics
Approximate location data: IP Geolocation by DB-IP, licensed under CC BY 4.0. City estimates may be inaccurate.
If you accept analytics, ARC records public page paths, traffic source and campaign labels, device category, approximate country and city, and active browsing time using random visitor and session identifiers. This helps us understand demand and improve our study information.
Your IP address is processed on our server to estimate location. The analytics dataset does not retain your full IP address, email, application documents or URL query strings. Estimated locations may be inaccurate.
Analytics identifiers use browser storage. The visitor identifier expires after 90 days and a session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Your preference is remembered for up to 180 days. Raw analytics records are retained for up to 90 days.
You can refuse or withdraw permission through Analytics preferences at the bottom of the website. Withdrawal stops future collection and removes the analytics identifiers from your browser; it does not automatically erase records already collected. Refusing analytics does not affect browsing or applying.
This optional analytics feature does not activate advertising pixels or send applicant information to advertising platforms. Access to reports is limited to authorised ARC administrators.
